Installation pricing on wood flooring?

My wife and I recently purchased a 1300 sq. foot condo and plan on installing hard wood flooring in the living, dining & 3 bedrooms. Does anyone know how much it would cost to have a company install this type of product? I’m looking into the maple wood flooring.

First Off No Home Depot Or Lowes Ive Worked For Both They Overcharge As In They Add More Work Than Needed And Charge Per Sq Ft For Everything.—-That Been Said What Needs To Be Done——(1)Demolition (2)Will It Be A Glue Down Or Nail Down (Concrete Or Wood Sub Floor) (Most Companies Don’t Charge For Nails But Do Make You Buy The Glue And Glue Does Not Go A Long Way) Do You Need A Moisture Barrier. How Do You Want It Laid Straight Or Diagonal Or Staggered Thats All Extra. Moving Of Appliances Is Another Cost. Oh Yeah And A Sound Dampener So You Can’t Hear People Walking Through Out The House.

Prices for the flooring itself range from $2 to about $6. Quality maple flooring can be had for under $4 per ft.
If your condo is 1300 ft., it sounds like you will be putting hardwood in about 1000 ft, big job.

Materials will likely cost between $3500 and $5000 dollars.
I install in the Midwest for $2.50 per sq. ft. Prices will be a little higher in many areas. You should be able to get pro installation for $3 or so. So the total price for this job will fall in the $6000 to $8000 range. If you are buying a prefinished product, this will be the extent of your costs. If the floor will need finishing there will be more expense.
