I have sanded, stained, poly’d, sanded, and poly’d again. My question is, what (if anything) should I apply to the floors once the last coat of poly has dried for a few days? Is there anything that needs to go on after? After I did the first coat the floor was like an ice skating rink, I dont want it to be that way after the last coat and stay that way. I had new vinyl floors put in my bathroom today and now the toilet rocks so bad that we are not able to use it. The installer told me I needed to call a plumber because the toilet’s drain pipe was not installed correctly when my house was built and he is not responsible for it. I had no problems before…. What could have happened to make this happen? Is the floor installer responsible?
He works for Lowes and we paid before the materials were ordered.
