we recently moved into a new home that has hardwood floors. I would love to keep the hardwood floors instead of laying down carpet, the person who lived here before said that the old lady who lived here before had cats, and there was poop and pee smells all over the carpet so he removed the carpet, but underneath, there are stains and blackspots all over the place? How do I repair them and if I can’t repair them, can I use a darker stainer over the already stained floor, to cover up the spots, or will I have to sand it all down and completely start out fresh?
